Whoever came up with the idea of celebrating Christmas in July is a genius!

Regardless of your religious belief and your stance of the commercialization of Christmas, in general I find that Christmas is a happy and positive time where it gives you an excuse to get together with the family and indulge in delicious food.

So, I totally understand that celebrating it only once is a year might be a bit too long for people to wait, hence the seemingly popular Christmas in July concept.

This new celebration has increasingly been more noticeable since we’ve started Gingerbread Corner with many requests from some individuals and especially from corporations who wish to bring a little bit of cheer to their lives with a splash of cuteness and gingerbread treats. Especially for those in Melbourne who are in the middle of their winter season and are probably wishing for some zest to counteract their gloomy days.

In the month of July don’t be surprised to see a few social media posts with candy canes, stockings, Christmas trees and of cause the Gingerbread Men as we dust off these cutters to supply the good people of Australia in celebrating Christmas in July with our cookies.
